The Columbiaville Historical Society was founded immediately following
the bicentennial celebration in 1976. A constitution was approved with
the following objectives:
a. to encourage historical study and research;
b. to collect and preserve historical material connected with the
Village of Columbiaville;
c. to house , adequately display, and make accessible such material;
d. to preserve the community of Columbiaville through a better
understanding of its past

The
Columbiaville Rotary Club was chartered on September 8th, 1947. The club has
assisted in many community projects throughout the years, which include the
playground at the elementary school, establishing the bank, the Bicentennial
Celebration in 1976, and the Watertower Medical Clinic, which represents the
support and effort of the membership. The things that have been accomplished
by the Club represent the theme of Rotary, 'Service Above Self'.
Rotary is an organization
of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide
humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and
help build goodwill and peace in the world.

Friends of the Columbiaville
Library

The Friends of the Columbiaville Library
is a volunteer organization dedicated to strengthening the library through
volunteer work, fund raising, and advocacy. They meet three times a year and
also for special projects and activities. The group welcomes and encourages

The purpose of the Holloway Lake
Association Inc. is the protection of property, the promotion
of recreation, and the preservation of wildlife and the
waterway.
Membership in the HLA is offered
at $20.00 per year dues per household. We also offer an
Associate Membership for those who are non property owners on
the reservoir, and we welcome you to join in on the many
benefits however voting at the meetings is not allowed for
associate members.
